因為他的去世，我將近30年來，第一次回去小時候成長的教會，在他的告別式上，大家一同吟唱台語聖詩第287首「救主我愛就你」。

一聽到這首詩歌，我的眼淚就忍不住掉下來：「我一定在哪邊聽過」，但是好像不是小時候。

後來我知道了，在名片「鐵達尼號」裡，沈船前小提琴手一直拉到最後的那歌，就是「救主我愛就你」(Nearer my God to thee)
